Second, it's also fairly easy to manually update Avira by clicking on the link below, then click on the "Download IVDF (Unicode)" link in the middle of the page, then download the update file (it's a file) to your desktop.
I find no problems when setting the automatic update time to or P. Once it's there, open Avira, click on the "Update" menu at the top, select "Manual Update", navigate to the file on your desktop, then follow the prompts to update the program. this helps.
